The baseball team defeated Penn State Abington, 18-7, on Wednesday afternoon in Jenkintown, PA. The Bloodhounds improve to 9-18 on the season. The Nittany Lions drop to 11-17 overall.

Penn State Abington took an early 4-0 lead after the first inning. John Jay cut the deficit in half at the end of two. In the top of the third, the Bloodhounds plated four runs to take a 6-4 lead. The visitors broke open the game in the top of the seventh after scoring eight runs in the inning.
The Bloodhounds travel to the College of Staten Island on Saturday, April 16, for a pivotal conference doubleheader starting at 12:00 pm.
