The baseball team lost to the College of Staten Island, 15-5, in a non-conference game on Sunday afternoon in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 9-21 in 2016. The Dolphins improve to 18-9.

Joe Gregory got the start and pitched four innings. Senior

The Dolphins scored four runs in the first two innings. In the top of the fourth, Warasila and freshman
Brandon Thomas registered RBI's to cut the deficit in half to 4-2. CSI responded with three in the bottom half and four in the fifth inning to go up 11-2.
In the top of the seventh, John Jay plated three on a RBI ground out by Sanchez and an RBI double by Cabral. Staten Island scored two runs each in the seventh and eighth to win by a final score of 15-5.
The Bloodhounds host St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Wednesday, April 20, at 4:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 48.
