The #3 men's volleyball team fell to #2 Hunter College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-11), in the CUNYAC semifinals on Friday afternoon on the campus of Baruch College. The Bloodhounds end the season with an overall record of 16-12.
Senior
Jack Palleschi recorded a team-high eight kills, a team-high six digs, and a game-high three solo blocks. Senior
Nicholas Anderson dished out a team-high 19 assists. Sophomore
Juan DeJesus picked up six kills and five digs. Junior
Francisco Miranda registered three kills, five digs, and John Jay's lone service ace.
The Bloodhounds totaled 20 kills, 20 assists, and 24 digs.
For his efforts, Palleschi was named to the CUNYAC tournament team.
The Hawks eventually won the CUNYAC championship over Baruch College, 3-2.
This match turned out to be the final one of
Jack Palleschi and
Nicholas Anderson's collegiate career. The Athletics Department wishes them the best of luck in the future!
