The women's soccer team lost to New Jersey City University, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds drop to .500 at 2-2. The Gothic Knights improve to 2-1.
The guests scored two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. In the second half, freshman
Jaime Bilotti scored her first collegiate goal to cut the deficit to 2-1. Sophomore
Kali Moss was credited with the assist. The Gothic Knights sealed the victory after scoring two goals in the final 8:33.
Junior
Kelli Doherty made seven saves in the contest. Bilotii and Moss led the way with two shots on goal each.
The Bloodhounds travel to Brooklyn College on Wednesday, September 14, for their first conference game of the season at 6:00 pm.
