The men's basketball team lost to the College of Staten Island, 84-67, on Wednesday night at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 4-12 on the season and 3-6 in CUNYAC. The Dolphins remain undefeated in conference play with a 9-0 record and 12-6 overall record.

MiKing Richardson recorded a team-high 22 points, a team-high five assists, and a game-high five steals. Sophomore
Essien Epps fell one rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and a team-high nine boards. Freshman
Doug Levy added nine points, five rebounds, and had John Jay's lone block. Sophomore
Luciano Cruz-Fernandez made three three pointers and freshman
Wyatt Harkins tallied seven points.
John Jay finished 18-for-55 (32.7%) from the field, 5-for-17 (29.4%) from behind the arc, and 26-for-36 (72.2%) from the charity stripe.
The Bloodhounds travel to the East Side of Manhattan to take on Hunter College on Friday, January 20, for a CUNYAC game at 7:00 pm.
