Christianne Perez recorded a season-high 18 points, a game-high six rebounds, and a team-high three assists. Sophomore
Kaitlin Koehler picked up seven points and four board. Freshman
Jessica Gorman tallied seven points, five rebounds, and a team-high two steals.
The Violets scored the first 23 points of the game and led 30-5 at the end of the first quarter. John Jay ended the half on an 8-0 run courtesy of a jumper and two free-throws from Gorman and four free-throws by Perez.
The Bloodhounds scored 17 points in the second half.
John Jay finished 9-for-49 (18.4%) from the field, 3-for-18 (16.7%) from three, and a perfect 14-for-14 (100%) from the free-throw line.
