Michaela Lattimore Named To All-Met Basketball Writers Second Team

Tarrytown, NY - Junior forward Michaela Lattimore added another accolade to her collegiate resume on Monday, being named to the All-Met Basketball Writers Second Team.

This marks Lattimore's second career accolade from the Met Basketball Writers Association, as she earned a spot on the Honorable Mention team a season ago.

The Morristown, NJ native joins former Bloodhounds Ashley Zeolla (2024-25), Kamry Hammond (2023-24), Katie Healy (2022-23, 2021-22), Nyasha Howard (2020-21), and John Jay College Hall of Famer, Jamecia Forsythe (2012-13) in being named to the All-Met Team.

Caroline Peper of New York University was selected as the All-Met Division III women's college basketball Player of the Year, while her head coach, Meg Barber, earned Coach of the Year for the fifth straight season.

Lattimore was recently named to the ECAC First Team, just the fourth Bloodhound to do so, and a First Team All-CUNYAC selection,  following an impactful season. The junior forward averaged a team-leading 15.6 points per game and 14.8 rebounds per contest while hitting on close to 50.0 percent from the field across 26 starts. She notched 23 double-doubles on the season, highlighted by an impressive 20 consecutive games of recording a double-double.

Lattimore scored in double figures in all but two games this season and grabbed double-figures in rebounds in 25 of 26 contests.
