The rifle team split with MIT in an NCAA match on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge, MA. The Bloodhounds won in air rifle, 2253-2193, but fell in smallbore, 2141-2103. 

Junior Lily Graham led both teams in air rifle with a match-high score of 579. Sophomore Susana Sanchez finished in second place with a 568. Rounding out the top four were freshman Jana Ferdoush (554) and junior Ida Sato (552). 

In smallbore, Graham once again was the top point scorer with a 551. Sato placed second on the team, and fourth overall, with a score of 529. Sophomore Marc Suda and Sanchez finished with a 516 and 507, respectively. 

The Bloodhounds return to conference play when they travel to New London, CT on Saturday, November 11. John Jay will take on the United States Coast Guard Academy, Penn State, and Plattsburgh State.
