The baseball team lost the first game of a three-game series to City College (CCNY), 9-2, on Saturday afternoon at NYIT in Old Westbury, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 10-17 on the season. The Beavers improve to 7-16. 

Junior Zach Hyde went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored. Sophomore Jurrel Diaz smacked a double and junior Brian Garcia finished with a hit and RBI. Sophomore Marco Alonso threw an scoreless inning in relief. 

The Bloodhounds will finish the series with a doubleheader on Sunday, April 23, starting at 12:00 pm at Salesian High School in New Rochelle, NY.
