The softball team lost to the College of Staten Island, 9-0 and 23-1, on Sunday afternoon in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 5-18-1 on the season and 5-5 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Dolphins improve to 26-6 and 10-0. 

In game one, the Bloodhounds did not record a hit. Junior Lisa Pellegrino pitched a complete game. 

In the fourth inning of the second game, Pellegrino singled through the left side for her 100th career hit. Later on in the inning, sophomore Star Manzueta recorded an RBI single to score senior Michelle Atiq. 

The Bloodhounds host Baruch College on Tuesday, April 25, for their final conference doubleheader of the season at Randall's Island Field 36.
