The baseball team lost a tough one to Delaware Valley University, 16-15, on Tuesday afternoon in Doylestown, PA. The Bloodhounds end the regular season with an overall record of 11-23. The Delvals improve to 15-15.
John Jay scored nine runs in the first. The hosts cut the deficit to 9-4 after two full innings. In the top of the third, the Bloodhounds added three runs to increase the lead to eight. DelVal chipped away by plating three in the third, two in the fourth, and four in the fifth. With John Jay leading 15-14 heading into the ninth, Delaware Valley scored two unearned runs to take the victory.

Dylan Laudano went 3-for-6 with his fourth homer of the season, one double, three RBI's, and three runs. Junior
Brian Garcia was 3-for-6 with a double, three RBI's, and two runs scored. Senior

Brandon Thomas crossed home plate three times.
The #4 Bloodhounds will host #5 Lehman College on Thursday, May 4, at 12:00 pm at the College of Staten Island in a single-elimination playoff game. The winner will then face CSI at 3:00 pm.
