The men's soccer team lost to Purchase College, 3-0, on Wednesday night in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-3 overall. The Panthers improve to 2-3. 

Purchase scored all of its goals in the first half. Both teams recorded seven shots in the first period. 

John Jay outshot the hosts by a margin of 15-5 in the second half. Senior Alexandros Taliotis finished with six saves. Freshman Mark Shnadshteyn led the team with six shots and five shots on goal. Freshman Nicholas Towler had three shots and two shots on goal. 

The Bloodhounds enter CUNYAC play on Saturday, September 16, at 12:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 70.
