The men's soccer team defeated York College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds improve to 5-4 and remain unbeaten in CUNYAC at 4-0. The Cardinals drop to 1-8 and 0-3 in conference play.

Nicholas Towler scored his first collegiate goal off a corner kick. Approximately 20 minutes later, sophomore
Michael DeMarco found the back of the net on a pass from freshman
Mergim Mehmeti. At the half, John Jay outshot York by a margin of 16-5. Senior
Alexandros Taliotis made four saves.
In the 47th minute, freshman
Mark Shnadshteyn scored for his team-leading eighth tally of the season. Freshman
Nadder Munassar was credited with the assist. John Jay's defense and three goalkeepers held on for the shutout. Freshman
Steven Towler recorded four saves.
