The women's tennis team lost to Lehman College, 7-1, on Friday afternoon in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 7-4 overall and finish at 4-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Lightning improve to 4-7 and finish at 3-3 in the conference. 

John Jay's lone win came at No. 3 singles when junior Angelica Lozano came out with a 4-6, 6-3, 8-6 victory. 

The Bloodhounds close out the regular season on Tuesday, October 16, at 4:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center. Before the match, the Athletics Department will honor its only senior Leslie Betancur as part of Senior Day.
