The women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 sweep against Yeshiva University on Tuesday night at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds improve their overall record to 10-6. The Maccabees drop to 1-6. John Jay has now won six straight matches.
Freshman
Niovis Monsanto recorded seven kills and a career-high and match-high nine service aces. Sophomore
Brianna Geraldo finished with a game-high nine kills and four digs. Sophomore
Nicole Aguasvivas recorded a season-high 26 assists to go along with four aces and three kills. Senior
Nyla Lloyd-Clarke and junior
Mirialis Almanzar combined for 11 kills. Sophomore
Sherine Bachtarzi registered a match-high five digs.
John Jay totaled 37 kills, 33 assists, 16 digs, and 16 service aces.
