The women's basketball team fell to the City College of New York (CCNY), 68-40, on Friday evening at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Bloodhounds drop to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Beavers improve to 5-3 and 1-2 in the conference.

Katie Healy led John Jay in scoring with a team-high 12 points, seven rebounds, and a game-high four steals. Junior
All'aha Albright finished with eight points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Nyasha Howard registered eight points, eight boards, a team-high four assists, a team-high two blocks, and a pair of steals. Senior
Christianne Perez grabbed four rebounds.
John Jay finished 13-for-61 (21.3%) from the field, 3-for-15 (20.0%) from behind the arc, and 11-for-15 (73.3%) from the free-throw line.
