Box Score The men's volleyball team swept Medgar Evers College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-16), on Tuesday night at the Doghouse. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 8-4 overall and 2-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cougars drop to 4-4 and 1-2 in CUNYAC.
Sophomore
Krystian Surdel tallied a game-high 12 kills. Senior
Juan DeJesus recorded eight kills and a pair of aces. Sophomore
Godwin Sequiera dished out a season-high 26 assists to go along with four digs. Freshman
Rintaro Kato had a match-high seven digs and sophomore
Michael Wong picked up a season-high and game-high three aces. Freshman
Dylan Senkiw added five kills and two service aces.
John Jay totaled 32 kills, 28 assists, 22 digs, and eight service aces.
The Bloodhounds host a non-conference tri-meet on Saturday, March 3, at the Doghouse. John Jay will face Sarah Lawrence College at 12:00 pm followed by Misericordia University at 4:00 pm.
