Men's Volleyball Rolls Past York College 3-0; Improves to 5-2 in CUNYAC Play

Box Score The men's volleyball team swept York College, 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-14), on Tuesday night in Jamaica, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 12-7 on the year and 5-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals drop to 4-19 and 0-7 in the conference. 

Senior Juan DeJesus led the way with a match-high 12 kills, a game-high three service aces, and three digs. Sophomore Godwin Sequiera dished out a game-high 31 assists and sophomore Krystian Surdel notched seven kills. Freshman Rintaro Kato finished with a match-high 13 digs. Senior Alexander Santana and freshman Anthony Francois added six kills each. Freshman Jose Peralta had four digs. 

John Jay totaled 35 kills, 32 assists, 29 digs, six service aces, and six total blocks. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Albany, NY on Saturday, March 31, for a non-conference tri-meet. John Jay will face Purchase College at 1:00 pm followed by the Sage Colleges at 3:00 pm.
