The men's soccer team fell to New York University (NYU), 2-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-3 on the season while the Violets improve to 4-0. 

Sophomore Steven Towler registered nine saves for John Jay. Sophomore Mark Shnadshteyn led the team with two shots. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Farmingdale State College on Saturday, September 15, for a non-conference match at 11:00 am.
