The women's tennis team dropped a conference match to Brooklyn College, 7-2, on Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 5-2 on the year and 2-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs improve to 6-1 and remain undefeated in conference play at 2-0.
Brooklyn swept all three doubles matches. John Jay's first win came at No. 2 singles when freshman
Mariana Rodriguez won by default. The other victory came at number five when freshman
Briana Schmidt won in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
The Bloodhounds travel to York College on Saturday, September 29, for a conference match at 12:00 pm.
