The women's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory against York College on Saturday morning in Jamaica, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals drop to 0-2 overall and in the conference.Â
John Jay swept all three doubles matches. At No. 1, sophomore

Mariana Rodriguez were victorious, 8-0. Junior

Cristina Peralta and freshman
Kellie Murtha (#3) also won 8-0.Â
In singles, Schuck and Lozano came out on top at second and third, respectively, 6-0, 6-0. Murtha, Wilhelm, and Peralta also collected victories in straight sets.Â
The Bloodhounds host Western Connecticut State on Tuesday, October 9, for a non-conference match at 4:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.Â
