The women's basketball team lost to Manhattanville College, 90-52, on Saturday afternoon in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 6-5 on the season. The Valiants improve to 11-1. 

Junior All'aha Albright led all scorers with a game-high 26 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Freshman Katie Healy finished with 14 points, four boards, and three steals. 

Junior Nyasha Howard tallied five points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Junior Karen Rosario and sophomore Jessica Gorman combined for 11 boards. 

John Jay went 19-for-56 (33.9%) from the floor, 5-for-19 (26.3%) from behind the arc, and 9-for-19 (47.4%) from the free-throw line. 

The Bloodhounds return to the Doghouse and conference play when they host Medgar Evers College on Monday, January 7, at 6:00 pm. The game will be live streamed at www.johnjayathletics.com/watch.
