The women's tennis team shut out the College of Staten Island, 9-0, in their final match against the Dolphins on Friday afternoon in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 6-3 on the season. The Dolphins drop to 0-9. 

John Jay won all three doubles matches by a final score of 8-1. At number three, senior Angelica Lozano and sophomore Kellie Murtha collected the victory. 

In singles, junior Clara Aylin Wilhelm came out on top in the fifth spot 6-2, 6-3. At No. 6, junior Cristina Peralta was victorious by a final score of 6-3, 6-3. 

The Bloodhounds host St. Joseph's College Brooklyn for the final home regular season match of the season on Saturday, October 19, at 12:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
