The women's soccer team fell to Marywood University, 3-0, on Monday night at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds drop to 6-6 on the season. The Pacers improve to 3-6.
The guests opened the scoring in the 17th minute and would hold on for a 1-0 lead at the half. John Jay outshot the Pacers by a margin of 8-6 in the period. Sophomore
Brittany Shaneberger made four saves in the first forty-five minutes.
Marywood added two late goals in the second half to go on for the non-conference victory. The Bloodhounds were outshot 10-5 in the half.
Shaneberger registered a season-high nine saves in the contest. Sophomore
Anneliese Tucci notched a game-high four shots and match-high three shots on goal.
The Bloodhounds host York College on Wednesday, October 9, at 4:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 70.
