The men's volleyball team lost two non-conference matches on Saturday afternoon in Aurora, NY. The Bloodhounds fell to Lancaster Bible, 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-12), and Wells, 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-17). John Jay is now 9-14 on the season.
In the match against Lancaster Bible, sophomore
Anthony Francois finished with a team-high six kills and two total blocks. Sophomore
Dylan Senkiw totaled a team-high 16 assists, team-high four digs, and team-high three total blocks. Freshman
Alejandro Gallardo had five kills and freshman
Doobin Lee added a team-high two aces.
In the game against Wells, Gallardo tallied four kills, four digs, and two total blocks. Francois recorded four kills, a match-high three solo blocks, match-high five total blocks, and three digs. Senkiw dished out a team-high 10 assists to go along with four digs.
John Jay totaled 31 kills, 29 assists, 32 digs, 20 blocks, and four service aces.
The Bloodhounds face Alvernia University and Misericordia University on Saturday, March 23, in Dallas, PA.
