The softball team dropped a pair of games against the College of Saint Elizabeth, 17-2 and 11-5, on Saturday afternoon at Fordham University in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 2-2 while the Eagles improve to 9-3.
In game one, sophomore
Jessica Barbaria finished 2-for-3 with a double, run scored, and stolen base. Sophomore
AnneMarie Rivera blasted a solo home run, her first of her collegiate career.
In game two, junior
Marissa Artz went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI's. Barbaria was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and two runs. Junior
Mariela Guzman registered two hits. Rivera, sophomore
Tommi Mandell, and freshman
Julianne Graepel all recorded an RBI in the game.
The Bloodhounds travel to the College of New Rochelle on Friday, March 22, for a non-conference doubleheader at 6:00 pm.
