Baseball Drops Doubleheader at Purchase College

The baseball team lost two games against Purchase College, 10-3 and 11-1, on Saturday afternoon in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 6-11 on the season. The Panthers improve to 7-4. 

In game one, senior Jurrel Diaz finished 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI, run, and stolen base. Junior Danny Wynne went 1-for-3 with an RBI double and run scored. Senior Steven Catuogno picked up two hits. 

In the second game, freshman Gerandy Mercado recorded his first collegiate hit, courtesy of an RBI single. Catuogno registered a hit and run scored. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Maritime College on Sunday, March 24, for a non-conference doubleheader at 12:00 pm.
