Softball Falls Against Hunter Hawks in Conference Opener

The softball team dropped a doubleheader against Hunter College, 15-1 and 9-1, in the conference opener on Friday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds fall to  3-9 on the year and 0-2 in CUNYAC. The Hawks improve to 6-3 and 2-0 in the conference. 

In game one, sophomore Tommi Mandell finished 2-for-3 with an RBI. Junior Karen Rosario went 1-for-2 with a run scored. Junior Natalia Nunez picked up a stolen base. 

In game two, freshman Briana Schmidt registered one hit and freshman Julianne Graepel scored a run. 

The Bloodhounds host SUNY Poly on Saturday, March 30, at Fordham University. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
