The softball team lost a pair of games to Purchase College, 7-1 and 4-2, on Thursday afternoon in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 11-17 on the season. The Panthers improve to 9-19.
In game one, sophomore
Tommi Mandell went 1-for-3 with a run and stolen base. Freshman
Vienly Cabrera picked up a pair of stolen bases.
In the second game, sophomore
AnneMarie Rivera finished 3-for-4 with a double. The left-hander also fired six innings and allowed two earned runs. Freshman
Briana Schmidt and
Ashley Sclafani registered an RBI each.
The Bloodhounds visit York College on Friday, April 26, for a conference doubleheader at 1:00 pm at Padavan-Preller Field.
