The men's tennis team fell to Brooklyn College, 6-3, on Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 2-4 on the year and 1-3 in the conference. The Bulldogs improve to 4-5 and 3-1 in CUNYAC.
John Jay picked up a victory at number one doubles when the tandem of freshmen
Ahror Muminov and
Terry Park won 8-7 (9-7) in a back-and-forth match. After doubles, the Bloodhounds trailed 2-1.
At the top spot, Muminov defeated his opponent in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. At No. 3, Park stormed back to win in three sets by a final score of 5-7, 6-4, 10-0.
The Bloodhounds travel to St. Joseph's College Long Island on Thursday, April 13, for a non-conference match at 5:00 pm.
