The women's tennis team shut out Sarah Lawrence College, 9-0, on Friday night in Bronxville, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 1-1 on the season. The Gryphons drop to 0-2 on the year.

Briana Schmidt and freshman
Kayla Hanky were victorious by a score of 8-1. At third doubles, the duo of senior
Angelica Lozano and freshman
Nikhar Rathi came out on top, 8-1. These wins were the first of Hanky and Rathi's collegiate careers.
Schmidt (No. 3), Hanky (No. 4), and Lozano (No. 5) did not drop a game in singles play. At the top spot, sophomore
Mariana Rodriguez held her own with an 8-1 victory. Right behind,
Gabrielle Schuck was victorious 8-4.
The Bloodhounds open conference play on Thursday, September 19, when they host Brooklyn College at 4:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
