Women's Soccer Falls at Rutgers-Newark

The women's soccer's winning streak came to an end when they lost to Rutgers-Newark, 3-0, on Saturday evening in Newark, NJ. The Bloodhounds fall to 2-3 on the season. The Scarlet Raiders improve to 4-3 overall. 

The hosts scored a goal in the first half to lead 1-0 at the half. Both teams recorded six shots in the period. Junior Erika Estro made three saves in the first forty-five minutes 

The Scarlet Raiders scored a pair of goals in the second period to go for the non-conference victory. Estro finished with four saves in the contest. Sophomore Katie Healy recorded a match-high five shots. 

The Bloodhounds close out their road trip on Wednesday, September 18, when they travel to Sarah Lawrence College for a non-conference match at 7:00 pm.
