The women's tennis rolled past Lehman College, 8-1, on Tuesday night at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 3-2 on the year and 2-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Lightning drop to 4-4 and 0-2 in conference play. 

John Jay swept all three doubles matches. At number one doubles, the duo of sophomore Mariana Rodriguez and junior Gabrielle Schuck cruised to an 8-2 victory. 

In singles, sophomore Briana Schmidt (No. 3), freshman Kayla Hanky (No. 4), senior Angelica Lozano (No. 5), and freshman Nikhar Rathi (No. 6) all collected wins in straight sets. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Western Connecticut State on Monday, September 30, for a non-conference match at 3:30 pm.
