The women's tennis team defeated Western Connecticut State, 5-4, on Monday afternoon in Danbury, CT. The Bloodhounds improve to 4-2 on the season. The Colonials drop to 5-4 overall.

Nikhar Rathi (third doubles) cruised to an 8-1 victory. At No. 2, the duo of sophomore
Briana Schmidt and freshman
Kayla Hanky won a hard fought back-and-forth match 8-7.
Rathi picked up her second win of the day at fifth singles 6-0, 6-0. Lozano followed suit in the four spot with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. At No 3. Hanky fought hard to come out on top 7-5, 1-6, 10-6.
The Bloodhounds return to conference play on Saturday, October 5, when they host York College at 4:00 pm at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
