Baseball Drops Non-Conference Game to Manhattanville; Chris Meditz Throws Five Innings of Scoreless Relief

The baseball team fell to Manhattanville College, 10-2, on Sunday evening on the campus of Fordham University in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-9 on the season. The Valiants improve to 5-5 overall. 

Freshman Raul Capellan led the offense finishing 1-for-3 with a team-high two RBI's. Senior Danny Wynne recorded one hit and a run scored. Senior Joe Desilvio reached base twice via a single and walk. 

Sophomore Chris Meditz continued his early dominance firing five innings and not allowing an earned run. The right hander gave up three hits, two walks, and struck out two. 

The Bloodhounds face New York University on Monday, March 9, at 6:00 pm at MCU Park in Coney Island, NY.
