NEW YORK, NY -- The men's soccer team lost to Hunter College, 2-0, on Wednesday afternoon. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-10 on the season and 2-5 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Hawks improve to 4-9 overall and 4-3 in the conference. 

Hunter opened the scoring in the 16th minute to take an early 1-0 lead. The first half was even as each team recorded nine shots. Sophomore Jesus Perez registered three saves in the period. 

Twenty-two minutes into the second half, the Hawks added an insurance goal and would go on to collect a 2-0 victory. Sophomore Maksym Ivanov led the offense with a game-high seven shots and game-high four shots on goal. 

The Bloodhounds will gear up for the CUNYAC postseason tournament, starting with the quarterfinals on Wednesday, October 27, at the higher seed. Final standings and seedings will be posted this weekend once the conference schedule is complete.
