WILKES-BARRE, PA -- The women's volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday afternoon at the King's Tri-Match. The Bloodhounds fell to William Paterson, 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-16), and Drew University, 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-20). John Jay is now 7-12 on the year.
In the match vs. William Paterson freshman
Faith Harer led the team with 10 kills and chipped in seven digs with two service aces. Freshman
Rylea Sandel added five digs, while freshman
Amanda Marte had four kills and five digs. Freshman
Meghan Smith had 16 assists.
In the match vs. Drew, Harer also led the team with nine kills, while Smith had a team-high 13 assists.
Taylor Hunt had a team-high six digs.
The Bloodhounds return to the court on Tuesday, October 26 for the final CUNYAC match of the season against Baruch College. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
