MAHWAH, NJ -- The women's basketball team was defeated, 75-49, by the Ramapo College Roadrunners on Tuesday evening in northern New Jersey. John Jay falls to 1-2 on the season while Ramapo improves to 3-0 on the year.
After finishing up her season (and winning a CUNYAC Championship) with women's soccer, junior
Katie Healy made her 2021-22 debut for the Bloodhounds and dropped the 30th double-double of her career with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Freshman
Jordyn Ruiz added nine points and four rebounds. Freshmen
Ayanna Edwards,
Ashley Zeolla, and
Samantha Elitharp and junior
Bobbi Green each chipped in six points. Green also collected 10 rebounds.
John Jay returns to the Doghouse on Saturday, November 20 for a non-conference game against Johnson and Wales University. Tip-off is scheduled for noon.
