DANBURY, CT -- The women's basketball team dropped a non-conference contest, 65-58, to the Western Connecticut State Colonials on Saturday evening in southern Connecticut. John Jay's win streak ends at two wins as the Bloodhounds fall to 3-3 on the year, while the Colonials improve to 4-2 on the season.
Junior
Bobbi Green had a game-high 18 points in the loss, while also collecting four rebounds and three steals. Freshman
Ayanna Edwards notched 11 points with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Freshman
Ashley Zeolla was the other Bloodhound in double-figures with 10 points along with six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. Junior
Katie Healy chipped in nine points and six rebounds and freshman
Jordyn Ruiz poured in eight points.
John Jay is back at it on Monday, November 29 for a non-conference contest against Rutgers-Camden in Camden, NJ. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
