FARMINGDALE, NY -- The women's basketball team had a slight edge at halftime, but a big second half propelled the Farmingdale State Rams to an 89-73 victory on Saturday afternoon in Long Island. John Jay falls to 4-5 on the season while Farmingdale State improves to 4-4 on the year.
Freshman
Ashley Zeolla dropped a career-high 19 points and collected seven rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Junior
Katie Healy fell one rebound shy of another double-double, totaling 16 points and nine rebounds. Junior
Bobbi Green added 18 points and snatched a career-high five steals. Freshman
Jordyn Ruiz was also in double-figures with 11 points and five rebounds. Freshman
Ayanna Edwards chipped in seven points and six assists.
