FLUSHING, NY -- The women's tennis team dropped their first match of the 2021 season to Hunter College, 7-2, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Hawks improve to 3-1 on the season. 

John Jay picked up its victory in singles. Sophomore Nikhar Rathi came out victorious at No. 5 with a 6-3, 6-3, victory.  

The Bloodhounds travel to Lehman College on Tuesday, September 21, for a conference match at 4:00 pm.
