NEW YORK, NY - Women's basketball erased a 21-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime, and eventually beat the York Cardinals, 88-83, on Tuesday night at the Doghouse. With the win, John Jay improves to 9-6 (4-1 CUNYAC) on the season while York falls to 2-5 (1-2 CUNYAC) on the year.
The Bloodhounds outscored the Cardinals, 32-11, in the fourth quarter in order to force overtime. Freshmen

Jordyn Ruiz had clutch buckets to help seal the deal in the extra period.

Katie Healy notched another double-double, which included a season-high 32 points to go with 11 rebounds, seven steals, and three assists. Junior
Bobbi Green tallied a career-high 26 points and seven steals. Ruiz' 16 points in the game were also a career-high. Edwards scored six points and dished out five assists.
John Jay returns to action on Friday, January 28 when they will take on Hunter College on the road. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
