NEW YORK, NY - Women's basketball earned its fifth straight victory Friday evening, defeating Hunter College, 69-59, at the Hunter College Sportsplex. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 10-6 (5-1 CUNYAC), while the Hawks fall to 4-12 (1-5 CUNYAC). 

Junior Katie Healy had a monster double-double collecting 17 points and a game-high 17 rebounds along with six steals. Junior Bobbi Green tallied a game-high 19 points to go with six rebounds. Freshmen Jordyn Ruiz and Ayanna Edwards also reached double-figures, pouring in 12 and 11 points, respectively.

John Jay will return to the court on Sunday, January 30 for a road game against Baruch College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
