Women's Tennis Loses Non-Conference Contest to Albertus Magnus on Wednesday Evening

NEW HAVEN, CT - The John Jay women's tennis team dropped its non-conference match on Wednesday to Albertus Magnus College by a score of 6-3. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-8 on the season while the Falcons improve to 1-9. 

After a rocky start in doubles play, John Jay fell behind 3-0 heading into the singles portion of the contest. 

Freshmen Mia Sorrentino and Kenya Kisson each earned their first singles victories of the season, while sophomore Dakota Himaya also earned another victory. However, it wouldn't be enough as Albertus Magnus held on for the win. 

The Bloodhounds will have their final road match of the season on Thursday, October 20 when they take on St. Joseph's - Long Island. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m.
