PURCHASE, NY - The men's volleyball team defeated Purchase College, 3-1 (25-13, 18-25, 28-26, 25-12), on Wednesday night in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds notch their second straight victory to improve to 2-4 on the season. The Panthers drop to 1-4 overall.
Freshman
Akashdeep Singh finished with the best game of his early career with a career-high 10 kills and three digs. Sophomore
Jack Nugent tied a career-high with 10 kills and three total blocks. Sophomore
Manuel Peralta and
Alex Bridgelall combined for 35 assists, 10 digs, and a pair of service aces.
Freshman
Logan Ramos tallied seven kills, a team-high eight digs, and a team-high five aces. Freshman
Stephen Daly finished with a career-high six kills and four digs. Freshman
Kyle Barriffe-Johnson recorded a career-high and match-high five total blocks. Sophomore
Bryce Glasper added seven digs.
John Jay totaled 41 kills, 38 assists, 15 total blocks, nine service aces, and 36 digs.
The Bloodhounds travel to New Jersey City University on Friday, February 18, for a non-conference match at 7:00 pm. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
