Baseball Loses Non-Conference Contest to the US Merchant Marine Academy

KINGS POINT, NY -- The baseball team dropped a non-conference contest to the US Merchant Marine Academy, 7-0, on Tuesday evening at Bartoszek Field. The Bloodhounds fall to 4-22 on the season while the Mariners improve to 15-13 on the year. 

Freshman Anthony Agosta led John Jay with two hits. Sophomore Christopher Nunez earned two walks. Freshmen Michael Mauro and Joseph Salerno each had a hit. 

The Bloodhounds will look to bounce back tomorrow with a non-conference game against Western Connecticut State at 5 p.m. in Danbury.
