PATCHOGUE, NY -- The softball team took on St. Joseph's College - LI in a non-conference doubleheader on Friday afternoon, but dropped both games to the Golden Eagles. John Jay falls to 8-12 on the season, while SJCLI improves to 9-10 on the year.

Rylea Sandel had another impressive day, collecting two more hits, both doubles, and three RBIs. Freshman
Angelina Schoelles had three hits on the day, along with two RBIs and a stolen base. Freshman
Jordyn Prince went a combined 2-6 with two walks, three run scored, a stolen base, and an RBI.
The Bloodhounds will look to bounce back when they host Hunter College in a CUNYAC doubleheader tomorrow at the College of Staten Island. First pitch of game one is set for noon.
