STATEN ISLAND, NY -- The softball team hosted first-place Hunter College for a doubleheader at the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon, dropping both games. The Bloodhounds lost game one, 10-1, in five innings, and then dropped game two, 9-3. John Jay drops to 8-14 (5-5 CUNYAC) on the season, while the Hawks improve to 9-9 (8-0 CUNYAC) on the year.

Jordyn Prince drove in the Bloodhounds' run in game one. Freshman

Mackenzie Tresch both went 2-3 with an RBI in game two. Sophomore
America Rivera notched two hits and a run scored on the day.
John Jay has a few days off and then will return to the field on Tuesday, April 19 for a doubleheader against Baruch in New Rochelle, NY. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
