PATCHOGUE, NY -- The baseball team took on Saint Joseph's College - Long Island in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening. The Bloodhounds came up short, losing to the Golden Eagles, 14-5. John Jay falls to 5-24 on the season while SJCLI improves to 13-8 on the year.

David Michalski had a great game for the Bloodhounds, going 2-3 with a walk, RBI triple, and run scored. Sophomore
Ismael Tatis reached base safely three times and scored a run. Freshman
Thomas Salerno went 1-3 with a walk, RBI, and two runs scored. Senior

John Jay will look to bounce back on Thursday, April 21 when the squad will travel to Long Island for a doubleheader against Farmingdale State beginning at 4 p.m.
