Baseball Falls to Saint Joseph's College - Long Island in Non-Conference Contest

PATCHOGUE, NY -- The baseball team took on Saint Joseph's College - Long Island in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening. The Bloodhounds came up short, losing to the Golden Eagles, 14-5. John Jay falls to 5-24 on the season while SJCLI improves to 13-8 on the year.

Freshman David Michalski had a great game for the Bloodhounds, going 2-3 with a walk, RBI triple, and run scored. Sophomore Ismael Tatis reached base safely three times and scored a run. Freshman Thomas Salerno went 1-3 with a walk, RBI, and two runs scored. Senior Christopher Nunez and freshman Juan Maldonado each had an RBI. 

John Jay will look to bounce back on Thursday, April 21 when the squad will travel to Long Island for a doubleheader against Farmingdale State beginning at 4 p.m.
