FARMINGDALE, NY -- The baseball team took on Farmingdale State in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday evening. The Bloodhounds lost both ends, falling in game one, 5-2, and then losing game two, 15-5. John Jay falls to 5-26 on the season while the Rams improve to 16-10 on the year.
Freshman
David Michalski stayed hot, blasting a solo homer in the fifth inning of game one. Sophomore
Ismael Tatis and Freshman
Anthony Agosta each had two hits in the game.
Senior
Christopher Nunez, freshman
Juan Maldonado, and sophomore
Marlon Hiciano each smacked two hits in the second game. Tatis also had two hits for the second consecutive game. Nunez collected two RBIs, while Maldonado scored two runs. Michalski had a double and stolen base.
The Bloodhounds have Friday off, but will host Baruch College for a doubleheader at Maimonides Park beginning at noon on Saturday. The team will honor its senior class before the game. The game will be streamed via
